Depending on what you need, you can:
- Renew Annual Support & Update to keep receiving the latest UgCS updates and technical support.
- Add an Additional Device to activate your UgCS perpetual license on one more computer.
- Upgrade your UgCS license to a higher license tier and unlock additional tools and features.
Do I need to renew Annual Support & Update every year?
Your UgCS perpetual license includes Annual Support & Update for the first year after activation. Starting from the second year, renew Annual Support & Update if you want to continue receiving the latest UgCS versions and have access to technical support.
Your perpetual license itself does not expire.
What happens if I don’t renew Annual Support & Update?
You can continue using the UgCS version available under your perpetual license. However, you will no longer receive newer software versions or have access to UgCS technical support until you renew Annual Support & Update.
What is an Additional Device for UgCS perpetual?
A UgCS perpetual license includes activation on one device. If you want to activate your license on an additional computer, for example an office computer and a field laptop, purchase an Additional Device for your UgCS perpetual license.
Does an Additional Device give me another UgCS license?
No. An Additional Device extends your existing UgCS perpetual license so it can be activated on one more computer. It does not provide a separate UgCS license.
Can I upgrade my existing UgCS perpetual license?
Yes. You can upgrade an eligible UgCS perpetual license to a higher license tier to access additional tools and features.
Available upgrades include:
- UgCS PRO → UgCS EXPERT
- UgCS PRO → UgCS ENTERPRISE
- UgCS EXPERT → UgCS ENTERPRISE
Does upgrading my UgCS perpetual license also renew Annual Support & Update?
Yes. Purchasing a UgCS perpetual license upgrade also renews the Annual Support & Update period.
